    sweet good to know! i found the problem though. It turns out it was clogged up in the intake of the pump with some cheato. What pump would you recommend for this skimmer?

    I just put them in there a month ago. Also, the air intakes are turned upright now instead of pointing down.

    My ETSS 1200 stopped working on me. I don't know why or how. It was pumping and I wasn't getting enough air apparently so I got it more air and now its back to not working.     You could check out my build for my 270. I have 4 returns and 2 intakes. All of them 1 1/2" but the returns have been sized down to accommodate 3/4" locklines on each side. Here's the link...I too was thinking of doing two sumps or one sump one refuge but it was just such a logistical nightmare...

    I would look up Majano anemone. They are a pest anemone. They look cool and all but just like aptaisa, they reproduce like crazy and can soon take over your tank stinging all your "wanted" corals. Get some Joe's juice and nuke those suckers! :)
