    I basically did this, I borrow my aunts level which was WAY better and it was perfectly level without the shims. I'm checking with the more water I add and it's looking good.

    how would I know how big to get them? the stand doesn't lay flat but isn't on legs. It's one of the basic marineland pine stands. Is there anything else I should put under it?

    so I showed them the pic of the flex pipe and they said it looks like 3/8 to them. So it's time to make a 12$ success or 12$ failure :P

    For arguments sake.. could I compare the lines under the sink to the 1/2 inch flex pvc pipe I'm using for my return? If I can then the lines under the sink are definitely are 3/8s
