    Thanks Saltwaternoobs! The only new frag of zoas that arent opening are the tubs blues, but they are doing what the original frag of zoas were doing and now are sticking their skirts out, so hopefully they'll open up :) I did some re-aquascaping so I need to post a new pic of that

    are you talking about the vortech pumps? if so, they run on thicknesses of 1/4-3/4" with 1/4-3/8, you'll be using the spacer. and the jbj cubes are 3/8

    good choice. not necessarily. reasons for a fuge: -nutrient export -phosphate/nitrate removal -safe area for pods nutrient export is only one reason, I'd personally run a fuge to lower my nitrate and phosphate levels. I would put the skimmer in front of the fuge because then the fuge will...

    oh man, i've never been good with AIO's. the best advice i can give you would be to take a look at pre-fab AIO tanks and gauge as to what their design is and maybe incorp some of it into your build

    Also... If we delete a member with alot of posts, those posts which might have good information gets lost. Hell, they dont even let us edit out posts after like an hour, let alone delete a member with 1k posts and bam, 1k posts/threads gone.

    definitely fighting conchs if you cant get another fish. I use to think nassarius were good until I got a fighting conch for my 8g. amazing. but you do have to have some nassarius/ceriths to eat the conch's poop.

    clearing some mistakes up... 5201.5 + 180+70+24 (nata) + 39 (estonian) + 90+30+14 (luisse) = 5648.5 gallons

    Found this on another forum, thought it would be cool to do our own since RF is dominated by washingtonians. Lets see what we can muster :) Take the response above and add that number to the amount of water you have in your system(s). Highlight/color the result at the end of your post. :):)...
