    IceCap Ballast issue - help please

    I'd say it was the Bulb. I had 2 10k Reeflux bulbs and one went bad after after about 1 month of use. It worked the day before but the next day no workie. Took the bulb back to the LFS (BR) for testing to confirm it wasn't me and they where nice enough to swap it out for me.

    It's looks better than the standard black filter and there's really not much of a price difference between the 2. It's pretty much standard equip. on the HD bikes.

    Really need to see a pic to properly ID the Algae, but I'd have to say it's more than likely green hair. Algae is usually caused by excess nutrients in the water which feeds it and or Nitrates and Phosphate. With that said, what's you maintenance look like? IE: Water changes, Basic over all...
