    Auto feed live food

    Has anyone tried to put something together that auto feeds live food? I have a fuge and the DT is getting whatever pods that gets sucked up from time to time, but probably not enough for supplementing feedings. I was thinking of something like a brine shrimp hatchery or just some live brine...

    What if you put a 90 from the hole under the DT waterline and run it up past the height of your return line, kinda like a snorkel..... Would the water pressure from the return push water up through it making a fountain? Just a thought.

    My skimmer is going crazy.

    This has happened to me before when I put in a brand new filter sock. Must have been something on the socks. I let the skimmer do its thing into a 5 gal bucket and filled in new mixed water when sump levels ran low and it stopped in about 20min..pretty much did a wet skimmate water change.

    It took my batch of 100lbs 5 weeks to cure. Yes, I just had a heater and 2 pumps and let it stew....changed a little more than 50% of the water at the 2 week mark and gave the rocks a good scrubbing...and waited till phosphate, ammonia levels were close to 0.

    Thank you all for the kind words. I was really pleased with the dry rock I got from brs, took a LONG time to cure but it was worth it.....hope it will fill in ok, had a hard time picture the final product when everything grows in. Btw, I have a few shadowed area from the large pieces of rock...

    without microscope it look like a tiny little black spec that moves. Thought it was black bugs, but it doesn't look like the black bugs I am seeing online. This thing just looks like a little shell with legs.
