Aquamedic multi skimmers
the 6 foot units do a good job with 3 pump import they do a good job plus are easy to put ozone on them, the only thing i would do is cover the skimmer in black plastic to stop coraline algea growing why would u say they are so bad i havent seen many other 6 foot tall skimmers???- morgan

yeh in sunlight i have seen great things also iron supplements may be esseintial target feeding would also be good if u can get small enough food check out www.goniopora.org that guy is a succseess story but most of his tanks are set up specificaly for gonis- morgan

plus any algea present will have detriuts build up and will be helping the algea grow thats why u have to scrubb your rocks because they will be covered in all sorts of **** what are ur cacl and kh levels at? mybe the coraline cant out compete it- morgan

if u have put limestone for like a fresh water tank then that will be a problem foxface dont eat hair algea there is a goby that does but i cant rember what its call u said nitrates were 0 but whats ur phosphate???- morgan

personally i would put 3 400watts 2 14s and a 10 in the middle i run 1 400watt on a 4ft by 14 by 18 and i have consider putting a second one up- morgan

ID please on this BAD bug!
cant id with out a pic if it was a fire worm u would of had hairs in ur finger that would of hurt when touched it sounds more like a mantis probly no need to stress theres all sorts of things living in ur aquarium that u would never know about unless u hammer and chisel all ur rock- morgan

why are u getting rid of the 65gl if u gonna just have a prop tank use the 65 for more room i keep a mixed lps sps reef heavily lps dominated its not to much flow if u have the power heads postioned in the right place u will want to run this tank the same as anyothere reef tank u may also...- morgan
