Thank you Bob Fenner & our sponsors

That's great Colleen! We should also thank Joe (jmp21677) who works over there and made the trip over to Mario's on very short notice, then hand delivered it over to me. He's a great guy! I'm glad the clown is doing well! I'll help you stock a refugium anytime :D . Susie

Thank you Bob Fenner & our sponsors

Hey, I know this one... it's my tank. Those are the first real pictures ever taken of it because I stink as a photographer! Thanks Ed! I had a great day with everyone. Bob was a real kick to hang out with, and a great source of knowledge. It was great having everyone over (this might...

    Power Outage Survivor

I was there with you too! I have a 20 QT tank that was dropping into the 60's! I was not a happy camper. Then, just after the power came on in the late morning, it went back out again for another 5 hours in the afternoon. I was heating tank water under dozens of votive candles for hours...

    Quarantine tank

I would bring it back up. If any fish need to go in there in the future, they would need to have the SG dropped slowly, over roughly a 2 day period, not all at once. Personally, I would just empty and clean it (especially if you have slime growing), then start over with tank water the next...

    Happy Birthday Elmo18!

Happy Birthday Ilham!!! For someone so young, you have taught us a lot! I just wish I could get you some ampiphiron omanensus (sorry if I butchered the spelling on that). Have a great day! Susie :)

    Check out this tang!

Wow Tom, you make him look like a movie star! I think you're right with your guess of Acanthurus nigroris, Bluelined Surgeonfish. It's the closest possible match. He's not a juvi Atlantic Blue, his body shape is wrong and he's been that way for at least 3 years, with no changes in pattern...

February 18th tank tour and hospitality

Hey Colleen, Your box is full :D I would be happy to have my tank toured. I'll even try to get the coralline off the front! Let me know when your box is cleared and I'll send you the info you need. Susie

Help setting up a QT tank...

You're very smart to choose the hypo, it will work where many medications will fail! Just be sure to take your time and use a refractometer!!! Good Luck Susie :)

    Salifert Tests...

No problem Ilham, I got it down. This will be the last call, I'm going to put the order in this evening. As it stands shipping will be about 90 cents per test. Thanks, Susie

February 18th tank tour and hospitality

But that would mean I'd have to clean my house  Now there's a scary thought! Susie :)

    Salifert Tests...

There are more tests available, the sponsor is Custom Aquatic, so if anyone is looking for something that I didn't mention you can look them up. I'll put you down for those Dylan. Thanks, Susie

    Salifert Tests...

I'll probably order in a few days, then there's shipping time, so they will be a little ways out. I can cover the initial order, that's not a problem and you can reimburse me. We've got about 12 in the order so far, so shipping will probably run about $1.00 per test, maybe a little less. But...

    Salifert Tests...

Mine are running low. One of our sponsors :D :D :D has them for very reasonable prices and if we were to order a decent amount, shipping would be quite low too. Here's a few price examples: Calcium $13.99 Alk/Kh $ 9.99 (this one is on backorder and may take a little longer) Phosphate...

    Salt Deal Tracker 2006

John, Are you mocking my methods? You said put out the best deal and I think I'm winning so far :D . You must owe me some pink zoanthids now :p . I don't want to speak for Mike but the last time the subject came up he was on the 36 to 48 month water change schedule. Of course my tank isn't...

    I have a baby Bangai!!

That is amazing! Congratulations :D You'll have to be sure to send a lot of tiny food his way so he can grow up before he gets eaten  I wonder if there are any others in there... Susie

    New wave-maker setup

Hey Stan, I have 3 large PH's (left, right and middle) that go off approx. every 2.5 minutes, one after the other. It seems to keep up nice movement with nice little periods of relaxation too. Glad you're feeling better! Susie :)

    thanks everyone

I'm sorry too  I was talking to JEFF, Elmo, Chuck and... (ok, now I'm understanding why my kids like to tattle) BUT, it was just so nice to actually be able to attend a meeting and see everyone, it's hard not to talk! I really hope Mark does another presentation for us in the future...
