    Whatever Dood!

There was a Corvette down in Nevada at a street racing competition that did the 1/4 in 7.87 seconds. I also have a video of a 1,200HP Mustang doing it in just over 8 seconds. Clayton

    Trivia

I found a couple pictures. The first one was taken quite a while ago. It's a bleached out skeleton of some Birdsnest Coral I think. I remember it was actually less than an inch long. The second is a really small snail shell from off the Washington coast. Kinda creepy how much the skeleton looks...

    Whatever Dood!

What's wrong with buying Majanos on ebay? Cheap prices, fast shipping, tough anemones, and no more corals... Sounds like a bargain... Ken, is that you in that picture? Clayton

    Whatever Dood!

This kind of boat doesn't count Ken, sorry... It's still a minivan. Clayton

    Whatever Dood!

That's all right, I was never a Marvel fan anyway. :) I always liked Archie; err..., I mean DC Comics. Mad scientist? That'll work. I would've gotten away with it too if weren't for you and that damn dog!!! Sorry, just getting into character... Clayton

Before and after light spectrum photos

Looking good Krish... My African Cichlid tank looks a bit like a saltwater tank actually, lol. Full rockwork with caves, 20K Coralife tubes, and water so hard it practically hurts your hand when you reach in. Well, maybe not that hard; but I do have as much salt creep on my Cichlid tank as I do...

    Trivia

I have some pictures of coral skeletons and shells around here somewhere, I just have to find them. They're on a backup disc; so you can imagine how easy that is. Clayton

    Whatever Dood!

The two Kings of Hijacking are fighting over off-topic discussions? lol I like the design and drive train of the new Mustang, but in my opinion they left out some new technology that really should've been included; like a better suspension for one. Hopefully Chevy can improve on the design with...

    Trivia

I like to see living things at high resolutions too, but I think we're off that subject now. :) Krish, that operculum came off of a Mexican Turbo of mine that died a few days ago. Clayton

    Opinions on Local Fish Stores

I've never been to the Centralia stores, so I can't really comment on them. Indoor Reef and Aquarium Paradise, both in Tacoma, are really nice stores. Indoor Reef is extremely small, but they make up for it in quality. Aquarium Paradise is a big store that gets a lot of livestock in on a regular...

    Zoo's and their toxins

The poison inside Zoanthus (Palytoxin) has to get into your bloodstream in order for you to get sick. When you're moving them it's always possible to release some of it; so you should always wear gloves to handle them. The toxin can enter either through small cuts on your skin, in your eyes, or...

    Trivia

I was going to respond Gab, but thought better of it. This could get twisted really fast. Not that it's a bad thing of course... :) Clayton

    Whats the next hurdle?

I agree with Ken, it's pretty much a waiting game at this point. Really bad bristle worms are rather uncommon; normally you just get the benign worms that feed on detritus and help keep the tank clean. Just like pods, they serve a useful role in the tank. Clayton

    coral fanatics

I have an online bookstore, so I deal with Paypal all the time. If you contact them they should be able to reverse the transfer no problem. I'll PM you their toll-free phone number. They don't give it out, so it can be hard to come by. Clayton

    Lights and Corals

It might not be that big of a difference. 400W lamps are pretty strong down to about 36", where 250W lights have similar strength at around 24". Considering the bulbs are the same brand and color temp you should be okay. One possible exception is if the corals were in shallow water under those...
