    Starter Coral

Sps has very high need requirements, and usually higher lighting needs. Lps can have high needs as well, however there are some easier, hardier species. Candy-cane, trumpet, the euphyllias-torch, hammer, frogspawn can be easier. Just go slow and do lots of reading and talking. You'll get there! :)

Suggestions on where to buy lighting from

And marinedepot.com, and saltysupply.com. The sunlight supply TEK fixture is really nice. The aquaticlife and aquamedic fixtures seemed alright too. I try looking up reviews and stuff too before I buy.

Suggestions on where to buy lighting from

I just bought the light fixture for our 90g, its the 36" Current Nova Extreme Pro, 6x39w. I really lke this fixture. We had it before on our 46g, and sold it when we took down that tank. Stupid move, but oh well. With the NEP fixture, it has mounting legs,or there is a mounting kit the I...

Oh, but don't do an anenome until you're pretty confident in your ability to keep lots of things happy an healthy. They also require HIGH lighting. It takes experience to spot a good healthy one too, and know what the heck they are doing in your tank. I think most of us have made the mistake of...

    Starter Coral

Bryan, we started with green mushrooms. Some cheap zoos are easy too. Xenia! easy, but you may want to get rid of it some way down the road. It can take over.

    36"x24"x24" NEO 90 Build

Alright, so for a 1 3/4" hole which this tank has 2 of in the overflow, you need a 1" bulkhead, the ones i got are "threaded" on the inside of the tank, and "slip" going out. If you can get bulkheads that are both end slip, would probably be better, but hindsight is always 20/20, i will just...

I took some more close up pics of my hood and how I built it so you can see what i did, i know it always helps me to see what everyone else does. 36"x24"x24" NEO 90 Build

Hi, it's Dana. I just looked at the invoice, and Jason ordered a 1" bulkhead. We're fairly new to the plumbing in thing too. This will be our first drilled tank. Our other 'sumped' tank we had was a 46g with a 29g sump, and we had the cpr hob overflow, and an internal return pump. So not much...
