    Trying to I.D.?

    This purple thing has been growing on this rock for the last six months. It has the shape of a mushroom but it more like a fungus because it's completely attached to the rock. There is no underside to it. It started as a small dot and now it's about two and half inches wide. Can anyone please I.D.?

    Reef safe fish???

    Thanks for the info guys. It sounds like I'll be OK with the wrasse in a reef tank. I'll start the conversion soon and post pics.

    Thanks for the info. The hogfish is safe but they don't mention if the wrasse is. I've looked every where for info on the wrasse and there is very little on him. Eventually, I am going to convert my tank into a reef but he's such a cool fish I'd hate to get rid of him if don't have to.

    Two or more anemones

    I was told that about the Condy but my Clarki was in it within two hours of introducing it to the tank. That's why I want to keep it. They've now been together for about 11 months. Is there any other anemone compatable?

    I've heard that there are some anemones that shouldn't be in the same tank. I've had a Condy anemone for about a year and I'm thinking of adding a Bubble Tip. Do they get along or should I look for something else. I will be adding corals in the near future. As of now I have a 2 clowns, 2 tangs...
