    yes, also remember the rating for the overflows are for the maximum amount of flow. so I would have a return pump not too close to the rating, e.g. a 800gph overflow probably is best for ~600gph retrun.

    you can feed soft corals planktonic foods. it is not nessesary for their survival, but it helps in the growth

    yea like james 734 said if you plan make that q-t tank into a hospital tank instead of a tank to moniter newly bought fish, i wouldnt reccomend live rock.

    nitrates help!!!!

    Nitrates at high levels are not detrimental to fish. I personanly wouldnt be too hesitant to add fish with 10ppm nitrates, but if you really want to get those nitrates ~0, you could waiting it out like krish said, or you can try to implement an additional sourse of nitrate export like a refugium.

    success with gonioporas have been known to require some sort of feeding. Lol, funny how everyone just assumes your tank is uncycled??

    Auto Top-off System

    I use the tsunami auto-top off, it uses a pressure sensor to measure the tank water level. It has worked stellar for me.

    How to transport an existing aquarium?

    drain and store the water in buckets/containers, transport livestocks in buckets, take down equipment, transport everything else, setup at new location, refill tank with water and livestock

    ya, like kurt said, I instead llike to place the sock into my sump, so water never leaves my aquarium.

    I personally would not use any flat worm treatments. Planaria are not really harmful, and getting rid of them is pretty easy. I have gotten rid of them by a combination of simply siphoning them whenever they get too 'evasive' and by keeping the detritus low.
