Joe's Wet Dream, A 550 Gallon Work In Progress

Just brought my powerhead switchboard on line, It consists of 6 american DJ power strips, each will control 8 powerheads. I've purchased 48 Maxi Jet 1200's and the modification kits to make them all mini Tunze's. Eric will cleverly conceal all 48 powerheads within the rock infrastructure, when...

Joe's Wet Dream, A 550 Gallon Work In Progress

There's definitely worse things Luis, I'm obsessing about tweaking it to perfection, an impossible goal of course, so I will always be whining about something. The copperband that John gave me loves the occasional clam, I saw no way to provide him with that with the mob of fish I have trying to...

Joe's Wet Dream, A 550 Gallon Work In Progress

Thanks guys, it's a pleasure to share my slow but steady progress. As far as the mix of fish if I had it to do over I wouldn't have added the flasher & fairy wrasses and the firefish, I thought it would be neat to have a couple of small schools hanging out midwater, but I really don't care for...

My total number of fish is 50, I'm gonna try to not add any more, but I am considering adding 4 more Flame Angels, a...

    Suspended Clam Feeding.....

I've avoided feeding whole clams to my fish for some time, in a larger tank it is a pain to retrieve the empty shells, they get drug under live rocks, etc. I've been feeding Nori by rubber banding it to a piece of Plexi and suspending it with fishing line,. I got the idea of trying it yesterday...
