i own a marble and granite company so i get the glass tempered and cut and polished very cheap. when you order glass from anyone they most likly dont cut it or polish it because there are only a few in line polishing machines around 500k...... i hate acrylic well cus i cant do a good job with...- servicky

Glass Tank building......
Ok got the glass drilled temperd and built today... 36x36x21h center over flow 1/2 starphire drilled and temperd now for the dry time 3 days.... then lets se if it will hold water. http://photobucket.com/servicky- servicky

silicone that is reef safe?
best to use... GE construction silicone you can get it at cr laurence if they let you buy it. i have a few dozen tubes. black part number is (scs1203). do a search on that you will find it on ebay and such if you are local to me i can sell ya a tube or so. Chris 425-387-3230 marysville.- servicky

can you use granite in tank construction????
nope no granite i own a granite company... in a week all the water would be on the other side... as in on the floor. also to much chemicals.. when they polish granite they poru a resin over the stone when they polish it to close the pores. also other ingredients. silica,quartz,umm i cant think...- servicky

new tank set up green alge everewhere
