Ok got the glass drilled temperd and built today...

36x36x21h
center over flow
1/2 starphire
drilled and temperd

now for the dry time 3 days.... then lets se if it will hold water.

Looks Great, now for the questions....

what was the build cost (materials only)
how difficult is it compared to working with acrylic?
did you get the glass pre cut to your specific deminsions?

i own a marble and granite company so i get the glass tempered and cut and polished very cheap. when you order glass from anyone they most likly dont cut it or polish it because there are only a few in line polishing machines around 500k...... i hate acrylic well cus i cant do a good job with it.... starphire glass is about 16.00 a ft retail. as for difficult nope i do granite so seaming and everythign was a breeze for me. i just added more pics started the euro brace..... and center overflow...

very cool, is the price of starphire glass $16 per SQ ft retail? and what thickness? good luck and keep us updated.

what exactly is a euro brace? I haven't ever had one pointed out to me before.

That looks very good. I just started a thread about a DIY tank. Could you post some detail on how you did stuff? I was planning on going with regular glass but the starfire just looks sooo much better.
