    calc reactor setup help

    yeah like stated above start with 1 -2 drips per second then adjust as needed. thats the safe way to dial it in. too many will drop the ph in the tank too low and thats where the crashes happen.

    well how much ca are you using a day ? as you use more ca you will have to adjust as needed. being that said it is a pain in the but to adjust and this is where most crash their tanks in this process. you want to adjust where you think you need it and let it sit for a day then adjust up or down...

    black tangs a more mild then yellows but there is some in cali also rob , John and cy all quoted me on a black tang I got mine from cali though. but here you can get them 500 -600 to one of the local stores.

    Magnesium consumption??

    thats where your mag is more then likely going then coraline will consume mG also. thats what my issue is I just dump a box of epsom in my tank as that is the eexact amount to bring it up 100ppm for the day I actually have to get some more I ran out.

    I look at it whats best for your system and equipment there is no right or wrong way well there is a wrong way but if it suits your needs and equipment then go for it.
