    Hmm your right, I have a pistol shrimp and his gobie in the 29 gallon. I was amazed with the shrimp and how far he did his tunnels. I could leave the fish and gobie and shrimp in the 29 and move the rock, then do the sand, then when it settles move the fish. I think that would work.

    Lets see Well, Im excited but its still at that stage of "only a mother could love". Or maybe a fish! I tested it full of water, sump running.. worked good. So Ive drained it halfway and got most of my fittings glued yesterday. A couple on the drain I wont glue, because I may do that...

    Whoohoo!

    Finally! I got water in my new 75 gallon. Finally have the sump and most of the plumbing done. Testing it for leaks now with freshwater! I have to buy more salt to fill it but soon I can move my stuff over from my 29 gallon. :D

    I know... we are pesty things.. at least you answer us! I need to make a note to bring Randy & Deanne the eggs I forgot to get them last time and should bring back your urchin. He's done a good job actually especially considering how hard it is for him to get into places. :D

    Ah the pictures help alot. Looks good. It looks like you only have a few inches of carbon in the container. Is that correct? How big would you say are the holes? Looks like a great setup! Thanks!

    The sump is 3/8" thick, seems nice and sturdy. I think I will do strips. Does Home Depot or Lowes carry the correct glue? Havent looked yet. Their acrylic is expensive. There is a plastic place in post falls, not sure what they even do. I'll have to check them out and see this week.

    I found a used sump and want to put in a baffle or two. What glue do I need to use for it? Sump is acrylic and Im either going to put in a few strips (like a track) to hold a baffle or two or just glue in the baffles. Where is a good place to get the acrylic sheets?

    I've tried the boiling water.. worked sort of on one, but it seemed to spread them. Two weeks after I did the boiling trick I seemed to have more!:eek: Barbie was telling me it sometimes works but sometimes spreads them. I got some Joes juice recently and it seems to work if you do it twice...

    Yep, that's what I was thinking too.. its one thing in the back, where you can patch it with glass and silicone.. but another in the bottom.. Id be afraid too..
