    Leveling a 300 gallon tub

I have a 300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank that I need to level. I was thinking of installing some 2x4s that are cut at an angle between the tub and the concrete blocks that are going under the tub. Maybe add some plywood between the cut 2x4s and the tank. Would this work and hold? Would I need...

    clear bubbles

I think I figured it out, I was talking to a friend of mine and he had the same problem, he switched his bulbs and that fixed it. He said his one bulb was out of spectrum. So as a test I switched my 6500ks around, now the side with the clear bubble is starting to look better with the different bulb

    Iwaki Pumps

I have an american and a Jap Iwaki on my tank, never had a problem with either on, both are about 7 years old. Amp masters are the worst pump ever made I had two and had them both fixed twice then sold them and it was hard to get them repaired. Also look at Panworld pumps, they are great

    LR and Sumps

I have a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub filled about 60% full with water, I use it for my chiller, heaters, and water evap. I added some live rock and may add some more later

    LR and Sumps

yeah that is what I am currently doing, but I was wondering because my chiller runs closed loop in the sump so the current is strong

    LR and Sumps

Does anyone fill their sumps full of live rock, I have been thinking about adding Live Rock to my sump to add as an extra filter system. Currently I have an empty sump that I clean out during water changes.

    how should I change things

yeah they already share a common sump, I am just not sure I like the idea of depending on one pump for both

    how should I change things

The 300 has a few softies and some SPS frags, lots of Live Rock. Currently the two pumps and the return are getting me 4000GPH, if I take the CL off and add two streams I would be at over 4000GPH at over half the electric used, I am 100% that I am swapping them out, I guess my main problem is...
