    So a combo of chloride & epson salt is the preferred solution? Not being a smart A--, but how does it make a difference, and what can I look for to notice the difference? ie: the fish are eating more, or corals grow faster or better colored? No more water changes for life(j/k) thanks chad #2

    Ofcourse, I was there when the boxes arrived and there was no "socalled" water coral. The only thing that was shipped and not listed was a tongue coral/ plate coral. I was ready to frag it and make millions! oh well chad #2

    The reason I ask is because the down force of the water irritated my soft corals and anemonie's. To fix that I took a blow torch and turned the bottom third of the lip perpendicular to the body of the skimmer. That diverted the down force to surface current/aggitation. Quick and easy.     I wish that were so. However I saw it on an in-coming order manifest for a LFS. There was no Latin name and the guy ordering thought it would be interesting and ordered it.

    need help. makeing a kalk stirrer

    I just measured my kalk reactor's capacity at 2 gallons (pump style). Maybe a tank caculator can fill in some of the missing puzzle pieces. Hope that helps Chad. Chad2

    Jna- Rinse the floss in R/O then put it in a nano with only harlequin shrimp. They will pick the stars out and you will be in the harliquin breeding biz. Jna & vicky missed you guys at the Seattle Aquarium meeting. Vicky I had to smoke alone! Jna- Dont give us S!@# for smoking:rolleyes:

    plack- only four months after the last thread. The spot on the melenurus means it is a male which also has brighter colors. I have a female. I smell $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ let send them on a date:D Still have the fish? How large did he get?
