    Question about Millepora sp.

    I just got a small Millepora sp.(real millepora, not a. millepora) colony and after a hermit crab crawled over it there seemed to be brown spots on it. I am not sure if this is where the hermit crab was stepping or not. Do Millepora sp. have a tendency to do this?

    Sure. Being that the color balance is off on my camera I adjust the color balance in photoshop to be imo as close in to the real thing. With that said the pic is a little dark cause of the angle with the light reflecting sand. I'll see if I can get another. Here's a pic.

    I have a 250watt de xm 20k and I know that it is different from the 400w 20k se, but I can't say enough good things abou this bulb. I do know that the picture shown with the xm 20k is not accurate imo. It is tough for a camera to pick up the true look of the 20k with out white balance played...

    Do You Have Red Acro Bugs?

    I got them on a frag and the frag never actually did very well in my tank and ended up dying. Not quite sure how much of a part that the red bugs played in its death but might have contributed. I have never had any other acros with red bugs to speak of.

    My 10gal is only 5 ft away with a straight shot to my 20gal reef about 25ft away in the hall. It doesn't bother me while typing but trying to do homework with a tank around is pretty difficult.
