I got a rock from indoor reef the other day and noticed that I had a bristle worm (or two) in it... I know what you can do the inverted coke bottle trick, but this guy isnt more than 4" long. Is that my best bet? Also, what food would lure him the best? (Im worried about my peppermint shrimp getting caught too).

You really shouldn't worry. Almost all species of bristle worm are harmless...except for a special few 
. They will not go after your peppermint shrimp unless he is dying. They really have no means of catching moving prey. Otherwise he'll just eat detritus and further enhance the diversity of your tank. I have several bristle worms over 6inch. in length and they don't disturb a thing. They like to come out at feeding time every once in a while but other than that are never seen. I would leave him personally, but if you were imperitive about taking him out make sure you use gloves, their spines cause an annoying itch for a good amount of time.
