    The refugium is in line with the main tank and the LR was from someone elses tank. So with what you have told me I think I need to wait. I might even add some new LR to the main tank, which will make the sytem go through a regular cycle. This make sense?

    Home made sump

    I built a sump out of a old 55 AGA. Put in a refugium on one side and a skimmer on the other side with the return between them. All it cost was for the silicone and few pieces of plastic. Completed it in one afternoon easy.
