Help identify!

I have cycled my LR and have found something I can not identify. It is about 1/8" in diameter with a "hard" skeleton, looks like a small pin cushion, and is whitish in color. At night it has tentacles that come out making it look like a small anemone. What is stumping me is that the tentacles only come out at night. What is this? Should I remove it?

Sounds like a small duster. Fermaferins (sp?)

I do have red foraminiferans and I do beoive the whitish one I have is one also.
