    That should be plenty of light for both of them. I would start the Bali green about midway in the tank and see how it does. The clam should be fine with good water quality.

    They can grow quite large and sting corals and some have a nasty sting that will hurt humans. Get rid of them while you can. Kalkwasser in a syringe works pretty good on them. Good luck.

    how much did you cut back on feeding. I feed my Naso daily. He is very active and eats alot. If you cut back to like every 2 days or so that might be the problem! I wouldn't dare to go 2 days without feeding mine. He would probably attack me!! Ha Ha... Sorry for your loss......

    QT a mandarinfish??

    You do not have to quarantine mandarins. They will not get ich!! They have a special oily coating on them that protects them. Do not quarantine them with any medications as this will surely kill them. They are very succeptable to medications....

    I use a Cpr cs50 overflow with a mag 5 on my 29 and added a maxijet 900 in the tank. It works well for me. Hope this helps

    Slickdonkey, I could go to the store and get you one today if you really wanted. Living here in maine we have vendors on the side of the road selling live lobsters.... I think it would make a mess of your tank though, they can get quite big...

    Wow, I must have posted just when you were. ? answered on the Clown fish. Is your purple tang going to make it. Looks like your hermit crab is having lunch... Good luck with it. Kinda small tank for a tang so aggresive but he may do just fine.

    What do you feed your Clownfish(es)?

    Great thread Ilham. Hopefully we can learn from this. Also, should we post what type of clownfish? Well, I have 2 tomato clowns and feed them Ocean Nutrition Flake Food Formula 1 and 2. I also feed Brine Shrimp once a week, and bloodworms once a week.
