Whats your definition of "Base Rock"?
Whats your Definition of "Base Rock"? "Live Rock with no visible life on it" usually found under all the good stuff, Its still live with micro organisims. Stray voltage question
"The voltage INCREASES when I start to unplug pumps. I stop unplugging when I hit 35 volts"...... This concerns me, I'd stiil try to see what is causing it to spike @35v, it is vdc right? very shallow crushed shell
Hi Mike, Our LFS will sell livesand right out of his sps tank, Yummy It helps me keep my 15 gallon 20 inch tall refuge style hex balanced. IMO you need it in a mini even more due to not as much room for LR.- Jim Hart

Hang-on Skimmers
on the C remora skimmer, how do you increase the bubbles? I notice a little nylon screw in the intake section on the tube, does this do anything? I have dropped the cup as low as it will go and its still extremely dry, i would like to on occasion have a wet skim, like just before cleaning.- Jim Hart
