Has anyone ever seen one of these wrap himself inside a bubble when threatened? I got one yesterday and this morning he was in the back corner cocooned inside a big bubble. lighting question
I'm upgrading my lighting system to two 175watt hamilton pendants from a coralife pc system. My question is how far away from the tank should I hang these? My tank is a 72 gallon bowfront and I have the top completely open. Thanks- moeandicy

closed loop help
closed loop Great ideas and the one witht he scwd looks like it might work for me. No drilling involved. The only concern that I have is the size of the pump. closed loop help
Does anyone have any ideas for a closed loop system for a non-drilled 72 gallon tank? I have a little giant pump that I was considering for this that's rated at 1100 gph. Is that too much? Any diagrams would be useful or if someone knows of a link that would help too. Thanks in advance.- moeandicy

DIY 35 Gal Sump for 72 Gal Bowfront
Here are some pics of the sump I made for my 72 Gal Bowfront reef (well...in process reef anyway). It was pretty easy to make. The hardest part was finding a place to get some scrap glass at a reasonable price (ie...FREE). Best place was Sound Glass in Tacoma on 74th street. Awesome customer...- moeandicy
