Golden Butterfly - Something is growing???

    bulding a new tank.

its up to you if you want to make an overflow box or just drill the holes on each end of the back as high as you can go to the blk trim. An aquaticlife 4 or 6 bulb t-5 system w/timer control is a great option.

    bulding a new tank.

I would think about a vertex in-80 skimmer or a in-100, both are under or about $200. Drill at least for a one inch bulkhead drain, return could be small like 3/4. Maybe think about baffling your sump for proper skimmer h2o level and a internal return pump that does about 750-1000 gph before...

34g solana vs. 34g red sea max?

as far as I know the 130d is constructed better. 80lbs on the front glass alone. solanas to me look like they are going to fall part at the seems, in fact know 2 people that had leakers. Solana has better light options with the open top , but you could go toppless on the red sea. check out...

    Swifty's 265 gal

kill the power and do a fresh rinse, let it dry and then goop the seems with blue pvc cement. The more you use it takes longer to dry ,fans! I just set up a 320gallon system and gooped it because i didnt want to go back and see a drip. Purple primer with blue cement works great with spa-Flex. ARSA

    Nassarius snails

The jumbo's are about 10 times the size of the mini's so they would do more work. These are very hardy snails great for cleaning sand beds. The shells are not round but they are about the size of a quarter. ARSA
