    my wall of water

Great looking wall of clean tanks. You know, one big tank is easier to take care of. Just sayin.

    Heater Preference.

Multiple heaters IMO is the only way to go. Also having a heater on a nice reef without a controller is like playing roulette. Sooner or later the temp controller on the 30 dollar heater will go out and either freeze or cook your tank. Having two or three smaller heaters will prevent the sudden...

    acro power/feeding

I picked up two bottles of acro power today from Barrier Reef. I'll start with 5 ml a day and bring it up to the full dose of 10 ml after a week. I'll keep everyone posted of any differences I see over the next two weeks.

    Heater Preference.

I have three ebo jagers 250 watt and one 300 watt heater on my system. I couldnt agree with Holygral more about using a controller.

    how much sand

I'd buy two 40 pound sacks and start from there. Sounds like too much to me. ;)

    Moved from idaho to Renton

320 miles with livestock is a cakewalk. I did 960 miles eight years ago with no losses. It was a 22 hour day but all worked out. I hope your experience was a successful one too.

    Moved from idaho to Renton

Welcome to the Puget Sound. You've moved right to the heart of the SW LFS land. Barrier Reef, OBD and Sierra Pets are all either in, or very close to Renton.

    Bob Moore Frag swap

400 people in attendance and two want to be trolls and complain in this thread. Your loss. The fall frag swap where only 25-30 people show up might be more your speed. This event has grown from a small ideal as an event in a garage six years ago (My first event on the PSAS BOD) into an almost...

Grab a Brewski with Drewski's 90 Gallon Tank! (picture heavy)

FWIW, I clean my parts with muriatic acid exactly how Andrew described. I put my hand into it without much of a thought. It itches a bit but rinsing your skin with water removes the acid and I've never had a reddened reaction or anything from doing this. I dont recommend ever doing this but just...

    Mr. Squirty's SPS Garden

Hey Paul, the last time I saw you we were talking about too many fish in an SPS tank and you commented that reefers had to make a choice. Nice Acropora's or a wide variety of a lot of fish. You have almost as many Tang's as I have. I dont feel like a hoarder now. Your tank is looking great BTW.

In need of a helping hand.

I butchered my poor ORA leather the other day. Cut a big doughnut right off the outside and left a poor little circle attached to the rock. My clowns are still in shock. Soon though, I'll have 21 little leather babies that will need new homes. Maybe you should relax that finger so it will be...

    RO/DI Filtration

YOu may need a booster pump. The higher the PSI from the house into the RO membrane the less wast water you will get, within reason anyway. Also dirty prefilters will reduce the PSI. Did you put new ones in or did you use the ones it came with?

I live on Locust way if that's close enough for you. I could swing by after work around 4:30 to help out any time this week too. Shoot me a PM with your address and # if you want.

    DBM's DSA NEO 105

I'm sure glad you figured out how to post the pic that show up. I hate clicking links but did anyway because it was you. :) You have some nice corals and your tank looks great. I'm glad you finally got it to this stage.

Bob Moore Frag Swap Coming in February!

This event grows bigger every year. Way to go PSAS Board of Directors for keeping up the momentum and making this Seattle's Biggest Reefing event. In a few more years I'm sure this will be as big as any Club event nation wide.

    Bob Moore Frag swap

Bump! The PSAS has some sweet corals. I have been holding four ORA red planet's and four Cali Tort's for the club to give away. They have always had some amazing freebies that even experienced reefers are happy to take home. I know quite a few locals that will have tanks full of goodies...
