My GSP is in high flow with good light and is growing up the back of the tank. And I have some in no flow and low light thats ok but not growing much. I can put current right on mine and they love it. They do take some time to get acclimated to your tank befor they take off. Stop moving them...

Flex pipe is way different....it's a smooth flow. A 90 is like hitting a wall and then having to turn and causes turbulance. Theres the white flex pipe you can get at the hardware store and I beleive you can use the same solvent on it as regular PVC.

A 90 elbow can cause up to a 50% restriction. I work on air brakes and we try not to use 90's unless you have to......just due to the restriction. And on a suction side you need as little restriction as possible so the pump dosn't starve. A restriction will make the pump run harder and pull more...

It finally will fill. I have a 110gpd unit and it only produces about 20 a day. Think my house pressure is low or I need to replace the membrain. But still produces 0 tds and is working so do fix whats not broke.
