Are these considered safe in a reef tank? If not what is the best way to get rid of them?

Just to clarify the black line runs almost the full length of the worm. The worm appears somewhat translucent so the black line isn't on the outside of the worm but more or less a dark area that comes from within the worm itself, most likely just the insides of the worm.

I'm looking at attaching a Maxi Jet 1200 as a feed pump to my Calc Reactor. Has anyone here done this and if so what sort of adapters, fittings did you use to do this? I believe the Maxi Jet 1200 output is 1/2" and I need to fit it to 1/4" John Guest Tubing. Thank you in advance for any help.

Won't it leak though? Do I need to use the PVC cement with this? If so I was hoping to not have to do cement directly to the bulkhead, but I will if that is the only option.
