    Dedicated circuit

I would call around and get a few quotes most electrical companies charge T&M (time and materials). $120 for the first hour and $100 for every hour after that...and yes one dedicated 20A circuit would do just fine for 1600w. A 20a is good for continuous load of 1920w (120x20x80% = 1920w) but if...

    recession on lobo brain...

what would cause this? my only guess would be the fluctuation in PH from night to day...(if there is any, havnt checked that yet), or the fact that it came from a 0 nitrate tank and went into my tank when I was getting them down from 20ish there now between 0-5 all within a period of 2 months or...

yeah TDS before RODI is in its 30s, havnt re-calibrated it i bought the unit from filterguyz about 2 years ago...the output would always read 0 but i found it wasnt seated properly after i saw the high nitrates so i re-seated it and it was showing a little less then what was incoming, so i...

    quick question on nitrates....

yeah i know it wont do much for nitrates but since im doing carbon dosing now since i have a larger/powerful skimmer its def. working alot better at taking junk out now/getting nitrates under 5 so far....the TDS was suposed to read 0 on output and 35 ish on input atleast in my area....so it was...

    quick question on nitrates....

ive never fed heavily since i knew my skimmer wasnt very good along with nitrates where high in the first place...the main thing that was the reason of the high nitrates was water changes/top off water had TDI of 30 so it was non stop adding to the nitrates instead of reducing them...just the...

    quick question on nitrates....

ive allways had a problem with nitrates...finally figured out that my skimmer couldnt handle the bioload of the tank, along with my TDI meter wasnt plugged in corectly so it was allways reading 0 when the filters really needed replacing...so i replaced all filters/skimmer and started doing 20%...

    H2Ocean salt question

ive tried alot of salts starting with IO, then going to tunze, and now ever since i switched to brightwell everything looks alot better after a water change, it mixes perfect no residue at all im just impressed with the whole brightwell line in general but the salt is imo the best around, but it...

thinking about switching out my skimmer...

yeah i got the tunze due to the fact that it was a small footprint for my old sump and the best skimmer i could get that would fit now that i upgraded the sump/display i have more room to work with...its a good skimmer for how small it is lets say that lol..now im just looking for a skimmer that...
