I saw that one while I was in WI... They're very rare... IF you want a nice one... go find C. boylei ;) I think the peppermint angels are going for about 8k$+ at the moment... If you're even able to find one...

there are a few angels that are tons of money. the interuptus is one of the best looking IMO..
 
Looks like a Potters Angel with a bit more color.

OK, I have potters angels for sale at half that, today only, $650.00.
And if it dies, I'll replace it for free:D

well i guess if you're a famous actor who is in the hobby or someone very rich.... why not right.
I saw a show in Discovery Channel about some guy who's the owner of some t.v. channels (nickelodeon, Mtv,) and he even owns a company for video games, and has also been into making the movies (i don't remember his name) and the guy was into reef keeping, he had some very expensive fish in his house/ mantion (i should say) and a fish tank with tons of corals too.
His tanks were just really awesome :) .........so yeah definetly guys like that don't care how much it.
 
thats a ton of bucks for a fish,years ago when koi started getting insane i never thought it would go to other species, i payed $75 for my arrowana 6 years ago hes 3' now and eats enough tigerprawns that the joke at the store is, yeah we know there for the fish.really though if you had a fish worth that much what would you do if it croaked?

If it croaks, you eat it. That simple. Filet it, eat that. Them make fish soup with the rest of it. What else could you do?

Gabs, Seems and Is are two different things. Redstone didn't get to be a Billionaire being a sweetie pie. He has the reputation of being hard core as most big business types. His tank was awesome. Bet the LFS that sells to him is a big fan:lol:

Not yet...I don't think we will hear anything until the weekend or a bit after that. He told me he was going out of town for the surgery so it will be a while...:)
 
The arowana krish is talking about isnt a normal silver arowana. The ones that go for high dollars are the more colorful japanese variants...

Why are they expensive? It's illegal to bring them to the US. :D
