I have a 220 gallon reef tank currently with a barracuda as the sump pump. I have 2 inch PVC running from the barracuda up to the tank and have the total flow running through a 1" Penductor. I am a little bit disappointed with the amount of flow, I really don't think that the penductor is being driven efficiently at all. My plans are to sell the barracuda pump and replace it with the hammer head, do you think that this will give me the flow through the penductor that it needs for it to run efficiently? The height that the water is being pumped is about 6 feet with 1 90 degree and a goose neck over the edge of the tank.
