Hello all... I have a 10g that I need to get a skimmer for. Whats a good one, I am planning on putting a clip on halide so there will be no cover top. Looking for ideas. Thanks

Great thread... thanks, I may try that mod on my G3 and see what happens

Now I just need to find that correct bakpak to fit on my nano... what model did you have on that tutorial?

also, for 10g, here's a couple other inexpensive skimmers that might work for you, you'll have to measure;

oh and I forgot you could buy the newer CPR pump(w/modded venturi, but you would still benifit from mesh modding the impeller) for the bakpak seperately as well:

Wow... you posted this before I could reply to your first post

I already have this skimmer on a 24g that I bought from Herefishyfishy... that thing kicks @$$... wish they made a smaller one or a way that I could plumb the two tanks together... it rocks. But it is too big for the 10g

The rest I will have to look into but I did look at the CPR pump... very nice, I just might get that one and then find a skimmer for it.

Thanks for taking the time for a noob like me on the links

just a cheesy post as I don't have the post count... but I need a 3 lamp ballist bad, both went out on mine and need one
