I already have this skimmer on a 24g that I bought from Herefishyfishy... that thing kicks @$$... wish they made a smaller one or a way that I could plumb the two tanks together... it rocks. But it is too big for the 10galso, for 10g, here's a couple other inexpensive skimmers that might work for you, you'll have to measure;
