There is a 150gal tank in my paper for only $75, but it leaks. Do you think its worth my time to try to fix....
 
i think you should go for it and you send it anywhere to be drilled get them to seal it for you or do it yourself it is easy. plus you need to find out how old the tank is because it could be leeking due to being old if you know what i mean.

Depends on the condition of the rest of the tank (ie scratches and dings etc), but I'd probably pretty much just re-seal the whole tank like new and see how it goes. $75 isn't that much to take a chance on. Atleast not for me living in the Bahamas where a tank that size would cost about $1500! :eek:
 
Just reseal all the inside edges with silicone after cleaning out the old excess with a razer blade. I have done it dozens of times, VERY easy. (water test before filling with salt)
Go 4 it!
 
Also, is it a regular commercial tank or someones home built job. Resealing seams is a pretty easy process.
 
As long as it is not homemade of all scratched up I would go for it.
