1. recently a tube appeared on one of my rocks (looks like a small featherduster tube) but all it does is spew out what looks like spider webs not mucus just like a cobweb its even worse when i blow off the rock work . any ideas what it is good bad or no one knows?
2.yesterday one of our sponsors was having a sale and i picked up a nice aquacultered efflo,i usually dont buy with out reading about a coral first. when i got home neither book i have tell anything about efflo's in particular what i need till i get some more reading material is light, current, and feeding requriuments for a start . thanks in advance.

Well the tube is a vermatitid snail. If I spelled it right. I have a ton of them They are pretty cool. Uses a mucus net to catch food. Not in the know on efflo so I will let someone else handle that on.

Well if it sits on them and rots yes. If it just touches for a while and then blows away its ok. If its like covering a coral I would definitly change the flow pattern to blow it away.
