Alright so I have a couple questions.
1. I have a candy cane pistol shirmp with a yasha goby and I am a goby fan so I researched about them a little and decided to get another. When I put him/her in(I'm not sure how to sex them) they got all split up and I finally got them in the same hole. The one I've had is still always out but the new one never comes out and I'm not sure if he/she is getting any food or not. How would I go about getting the goby out. And I've tried moving rock twise now and I can't do that again.
2. I've had a couple reef tanks and I like the pulsing xenia a lot so I went ahead and got some. It was doing so well I had to frag it three seperate times to keep it under control. Now it is shrivled up and doesnt pulse at all. But I also have pom pom xeina in the tank as well and that pulses just fine.

If anybody has an idea on either of these let me know please. I'm more worried about the goby problem if you happen to know the answere to that question. Thanks everyone

If you just got the yasha that's hiding a lot, then it's probably just getting used to the new place. Moving the rocks around just stresses it out even more. The best you can do right now is to shoot food into its hole with a turkey baster or something and be patient for it to come around.

I would keep your hands out of the tank, and make sure the water parameters are all good. If they are the Xenia will come back, it's pretty much an underwater weed. Again leave the Gobies alone, if the one is being picked on, moving the rocks will only stress him out more. Just my two cents

Yeah give it time and spot feed the hole a bit. Xenia can be a weed at times but it can also be very moody. I've read sometimes the addition of iodine helps them, but then i've seen many replies saying it doesn't help much at all.
