So no Luck with the pump...maybe just the setup. I'll have to think about that when setting up a 120-130.

Thanks for the info nasher8860. Internal pumps are bummers IMO. I'm hoping to turn mine all into external. Now that I have my aquascaping done, I'm going to start working on a closed loop with an external pump and also, convert my return pump from my sump to external also. I'll let you know also how my temp runs before and after. Mine us to sit at 88-90!(LOL) until I removed the glass on the top of my tank and removed a troublesome JBJ pump thant got my temp to about 84. Good luck....

Ok...nailed the heat issue..went and bought a digi-temp reader thingy(lol)

without the fans and lights on the temp jumps to 82.7 or so

no lights just fans it drops to about 78.5

So now I run the fans 24/7 and Ive added a little heater to keep the temp sittin at 80.

Oh yea did I metion my cool a$$ Girlfriend bought me a new Euro-Reef skimmer for my B-day..boy am I lucky.. Hehe. Pics in a week when I find a decent camera.
