And look who showed up today. One heck of a survivor I'd say!

And here's what he looked like 4 weeks ago . . .

added another photo 'cuz the first one appeared too dark on my Mac even though it looked good on my HP? But still too dark . . . hmmm.

Well guess what . . . they're a family. It's not 1 baby cardinal, but 3 and all have made it to one month old! I'm thinking I may net them out and put together a grow tank for them. Seems a shame to let them go. Crazy! This plus the 2 adults that grew up in my sump and are still living makes 5 so far! Must be tricky little guys to survive in such tight quarters.

That's pretty neat that they survived like that. You would think someone may have eaten them by now being that small! That just nuts! I like how the strip runs arcoss their eyes as well. Looks like a blindfold :lol:
