? About branching SPS frags or others if it applys
Say I find two frags of the same coral from the same mother in the same store or fellow reefers tanks
one 3/4 inch full Incrusted to base of frag plug.
Or a 11/2 recently glued frag.
From past experance what would have the best chances
of making it becoming a mother it's self with all ealse being equil really good water condishions go.
Thanks

IMO with all else being equal with really good water conditions, flow and feeding, both pieces would have the same chance.

There are so many variables that influence color. I have a montipora that I fragged in to about 30 pieces and put them in different places in the tank. Between the differences in lighting and flow, there is a pretty large variation in colors in just my tank, and all the frags were from the same parent colony.

I have to agree, both stand about the same chance but for whatever reason I always prefer crusty frags because once they get to growing they seem to go nuts. And Jezz, you are exactly right, the same coral can look completely different depending on the lighting. It's amazing how they can change.
