1st Pic- Extending the overflow section, which increases flow by allowing more water into the 2nd chamber.
2nd Pic- Cutting a strip of plastic from the containers used to carry flower pots, protects from fish jumping over and suffocating.
3rd Pic- Adding filter media, I have Seachem's Matrix and Denitrate in that compartment to keep my levels low.
4th Pic- Finally got a pic of my jawfish! He's been hidin out so it's been tough.

Looks great!

I had an anemone go on a walkabout and got into the back chamber of my JBJ nano cube. Let's just say the results weren't pretty and I wish I had built a gate of some sort as well.

As you can see it was very simple, all I did was cut it with scissors and then cut two slits so it slid down onto the walls of the 2nd and 1st chamber...I cut out a small section to make sure it wasn't blocking the filter grates and now only about 1/2 inch of the plastic is in the water in the 1st compartment, which I'm pretty sure is fine since the whole thing is plastic!

I broke up a couple pieces of useless rock laying around from previous coral frags and dropped it in his burrow along with crab shells so he'll have some stuff to build with...very smart creatures he used the shells and rock sort of like a dam to keep the sand back

Nice diy joker!!

what are the jawfishes good for???

looks cool!!!

im sorry was the nano cube your only salt set up or did you have more

You seemed to be awfully informed on alot of subjects so i would think that you had like a 1000 gal set up or something, your proably just 1 of the smart ones that did his research first!!!

love the pics, did you have any more to show off????

LIke ol homer simpson would say,"dddoooohhhh".

Sorry to hear that but at least it was just a hermit and not like a clown fish or something!!!

I'm hoping my coralline continues to grow crazy and cover my back wall...and my next coral purchase is going to be a frogspawn hopefully from some guys on here and then a squishy brain....don't know the name of them but they're light brown and poofy

Looks great i like the 2nd pic the best

like the rock work but it dont look stable

is there any coral you wish you had or plan on getting!!!

not sure what brain your talking about, is it a maze brain???

i like the green and red brains im not sure what there names are though!!!

Ty and Ty...the rockwork is stable...the only one that has slightly moved is the very top one and it just rests back on the back of the cube...now my fav little adjustment was setting the left rock ontop of the powerhead...you can hardly notice!

Yes...I was hoping to avoid that question lol...everything is back in the main tank and i've watched very closely they are all doing spectacular!

Somehow... I kinda had that feeling already. ;)

Best of luck with your setup! Remember, to try your best to continue moving SLOWLY, both for the health of your system, as well as the animals in your care.

Keep the pictures coming! :D :D

Yeah well the clowns in the pic kinda gave it away lol...but yeah I donated my damsel to the pet store...nipping clownfish son of a b...ut yeah haha. For the most part I'm done stocking fish with 3...my next idea for corals plan on being frogspawn...I'm hoping to get 5 heads of it for 20$ and the guy i'm getting it from is paying half for shipping...so that's like 36$ for it. And the brain I was looking to get looks somewhat like a bubble coral but it has a different name.

Be carfull what you wish for or you will end up like this

That's what I want lol...mine is a medium color purple (see second pic of my before and after corals on the post and look on the left side rock) and I want it to cover up the boring black
