Jamie, how is the tank coming along? I am looking to setup my own little pico, a good friend is on her way to start hers and I got all excited to do my own. We came across your thread and wow great job! I was curious to how everything is coming along.

The tank is still up and running. I will get some more pics soon. I have a 70W metal halide light over the tank and I added a spray bar at the bottom of the tank for some more flow. I haven't really added much in the way of coral except for a small blue zoo colony.

I am actually upgrading the tank here in the next couple weeks. I picked up a 12g Aquapod last week. I am in the process of modding the tank with more fans and a 70w halide. I should have it cycling by the weekend and everything in the tank shortly after

I haven't decided yet. I am going to take it home this weekend and clean it up. I will probably eventually put it up for sale in the forums here.
Either that or I might use it for a quarantine for a tang I am thinking about getting. :lol::lol: (Just kidding)

I also have that tank! What coral and stuff would you recomend? I am so frustrated because nothing fits
Here are some pictures of my 3 gallon nano I keep at my office. It is a JBJ Picotope that came with a 9W light and a HOB filter. I also added a small heater and a powerhead for extra circulation.
Here is a picture from when it was set up on 7/21. I used rock from my tank at home.

I am looking for more zoos to put in the tank. I have also modified an AquaClear 70 HOB filter to replace the small one that came with the tank. It will hold the heater, some chaeto and a small airstone skimmer. I am waiting on the smaller impeller so that I can slow the flow down enough that it won't send sand all over. I am also planning on removing the powerhead at that time, since there should be enough circulation in the tank.
I also have an ATO system that I am working on for this tank, but it has been giving me problems. I am pretty sure it is in my float switch so I am going to swap it out soon and give it another try.
