30gal to 75gal upgrade

I'm begining to switch from a30 gal reef that's been setup for almost 2yrs to a 75gal. Wondering what affect it will have with that much water change.The 30 gal has all the filters and pumps capable of running the 75. I've already setup a new light system for the 75.
 
I agree...The water change will be fine IMO.:) It will be like doing a really nice sized water change which is always good if using ro/di water. The only way you will get a cycle IMO, is if you allow any rock to sit out too long and have some die-off etc, but that's probably about it. Good luck with the upgrade...They are always nice!:D
 
The only thing that might happen is if you decide to add somethings because of the bigger tank, ei live rock or more fish.
 
Thanks for the info the tank is a bare bottom setup.I don't anticipate adding any new livestock or rock anytime soon, maybe some additions later after everything has settled down.
