Because thats what the site owner chose. You are free to disagree, though the whining has gotten old.
Your other thread whining about participation? They should try to fix that huh? Maybe if there was a way to force folks to participate and build community... hmmmmmmm

Unfortunately because there is a lack of participation there is not much reason to come on to this sight except for looking at the classifieds. Their are almost 30000 members on this sight maybe it is time to send each one a e-mail and ask them to re-establish their membership or get dumped, something needs to be done. Also maybe post something in the local fish stores in Washington and Oregon. Also the Bob Moore frag swap event is coming up, get a spokes person out and spread the word. I am fairly new to this sight and it is nice to have a Washington based sight. Make it work somehow!

This isn't a Washington base site, never meant to be from day one, just happened the original owners were from Washington.

I declare you to be in charge of making it work, since you are so awfully good at being pushy... I suppose the rude, whiny, and self absorbed parts of your personality won't help, but then again, maybe it it'll be a two-fer, the site will benefit, and you'll grow too.
There isn't anything IN the classifieds by the way.
