My wife bought me a Canon G1SI for Christmas so I couldn't help but post some pics. Not the best as I am still getting aquainted with the camera. When the pics were taken it was -30 Celsius (sorry not sure of the F conversion) outside. It always freaks me out that we can keep reefs in any climate. Gotta love it.

Acroplus welcome to Reef Frontiers!!!

Nice acros, how long have you been into Reefing? How long has your tank been set up? Tell us a little bit about your set up it looks really nice.

The tank has been going for 2 years now. It started out as a mostly softy and lps tank but about a year I decided to go primarily sps. Almost all the sps are grown from small frags from a local hobbiest.
The system is pretty well DYI. 90 gal Miracle, 2-175W 10k ushios on cap and coil ballasts, 4 NO actinic, MR2 simmer, 20 gal sump with Mag750 return and 3 maxijets1200.
I have attached one more full tank pic. The juice jug in the centre of the tank was a temp fix when I came home with the acro (also from the same local quy) and i haven't got aroung to pickin up a chunk of liverock to replace it with. Are yellow apples reef safe?

Hey there, welcome aboard, glad to see you could make it. Nice lookin tank. I don't know about the temp. conversion either, but it's about 5 above here as I type this. We do know one thing tho, with all the heat comin' off the halides, the heat don't come on like it used to when it was this cold!!! By the way, that is one nice cap you've got there, congrats.

Thanks for the compliments. By Cap if you mean the pink plate shaped coral on the mid right hand side of the tank, that is actually a Mycedium. Or so I purchased it as that. I have seen Montastrea and Echino online which looked very similar.
