Well after battling with a wierd kind of Algae on my new Pukani Rock Its finally getting cleaned up some... I have still yet to find out what It is.. Nothing I have found will eat it Except Zebra Stripped Turbos...

Anyways here is a Few pictures... I have a Deltec 1003 skimmer on here for now to help try and clean up anything that is feeding this algae..

Nice looking stuff James. I think that the algae is hair algae, just a different type. If the Zebras eat it, more power to them. Just don't add too many, they may run out of food.
How long has this been set up, you said "new Pukani rock". Just curious, you may still be in a cycle????

clams

Nice looking clams you got there James, just add some lettuce nudi's and maybe some more turbo snails and that algae will be gone pretty quick... let me know how it turns out! :)

yeah the derasa has been putting on quite a bit of mass lately...

As for the rock I think I added it a couple months ago ago curing it for a while in a tub... All the levels were at 0 when I added it to the tank...

Once this algae is gone then I will be stockin up the tank pretty good... Just having a hard time getting rid of it..

Man James that is a nice lookin setup, is that a 30"T?

How much rock do you have and what lights do you use?

There is about 220lbs of Pukani Rock in there... give or take a few lbs...

Tank is 72Lx24Hx30W and I have 3x400w 11k Krystal Stars and 4x72" Uri Vho Actinics... I am more than likely soon to be adding 2x250w probably 20k to the mix as well...
