First shot this on accident, then decided it tooked pretty cool so went back to take a slightly better version. Still not happy with it, but can't go back much farther out of the water and still have the coral seen under water. lol.

Brie ever think about putting on an aquaria photo workshop? I'd pay to get a few hours of photography instruction.

Great shot Brie!! I like how you said it didn't come out great and the thing could be in a magazine :p

LOL well if it were PERFECT, the tips of the colony wouldn't be cut off at the edges of the photo, and it would be a little more centered. But my lens was already at 18mm and pulled back out of the water as far as I could go.

The PSAS actally asked me to do one last year but i'm just not good at being a teacher. lol. Maybe we'll do one in the shop here some day.

Brie,
thanks, I would like that..I may be stopping by the store later this afternoon to get some food.

Brie - I wish I could get results half that good with my crummy Canon point & shoot.

Cool shot! It's pretty neat how you got two different perspectives of a colony in one shot.

I almost got a frag of that yesterday, but then I decided on blue mille since my tank has a lot of warm colors already (red, orange, yellow).
