I have read somewhere that many people have had success with dry-shipped Xenias.
But for acclimation, it seemed like some people say that temperature is the only thing they need to acclimate to, when shipped dry. The argument was that its better to get in water asap rather than slowly adjusted ( analogy used there was a guy trapped in a garage with carbon monoxide is better off jumping out to fresh air... not sure if that analogy works ). Appearantly, many have had no problems with this.

Just wanted to get some input as I am receiving 3 stalks, 2 in water and 1 dry shipped on Friday. The guy is sending me the extra stalk for free to see if dry-shipping works.

Instead of double bagging with water and heat pack, its double bagged in wet paper towels w/heat pack.

I figured that but i wasn't sure. i would set them in the ater still in the bag to at least let them get used to the tank's temp and then i would add them. I don't think an extra 20 minutes will kill them. Fosters and smith sent me freshwater plants like that and they did just fine.
