on top branches of some of my acros there starting to turn white just wondering if its just getting bleached from lights...

some of my acros do the same thing some are different colors like blues greens purples reds ect. I have a stag that has white also for growth.

I think it might be growth as well. I have a sunset mili that is doing the same thing and getting bigger so you are probably ok.

if at night when the lights are out there should be a HUGE polyp that come out that tip usually longer than all the others

you are good then it is growth and thats not a bad thing just probly starting to take off. every new sps I place in my tank the tips come nice and colorful then hits my water all trun the same color of the body then when time to grow the tips become nice again. nothing wrong just adjusting to the recent changes some take a few days some take a few months.

I'm still an SPS n00b but it looks like growth, especially since the lower one is doing it. I haven't experienced bleaching but I would think the coral would do it to approximately the same level (everything above the lower branch would be white).

yeah it looks to be new growth its already looking really healthy
