After several years of frustration - I'm out of ideas

Thanks all for the advice, and sorry it took me so long to follow up. The Chemiclean worked great! And I want to give a HUGE shout out to Mike (mojoreef) who was kind enough to actually stop by my house and look over my tank and setup. It was very reassuring to have someone with his experience confirming what was correct with the tank, and what I needed to change. I'm already planning to stop by his store (Oceans by Design) to replace my sand and possibly pick up a few new corals.

This is a terrific success story example thanks to a strong reef community.

Glad you got it figured out and that the Chemiclean worked for you. It has always been reliable for me when I have an outbreak. Great going Mike, for going above and beyond. He truly cares about this hobby and his customers.

so, if i might ask, what were Mike's the recommendations? we all likley have 'flaws' in our setups.. helps to see them listed... might help someone who finds the thread later too....
