air pumps

does anyone here use airstones in their aquarium?
I currently have a cheap elite 800 air pump that is very loud from vibrations, my pet store carries tetra tech and rena air pumps, r these two brands any good and quiet, or should I order something different online. Thanks in advance btw. my aquarium is 29 gallons if that's relevant

Rena air pumps are pretty nice. I also have some of the tetra tech and they are pretty good 2. So what are you using the air pump for, the skimmer, or do you just like bubbles?

Thanks for the input tom, I want to use the air pump for an airstone in my newly started reef tank, a large air stone for my bucket that I keep the water in for water changes, and I also run on in one of my small 20 gallon freshwater african cichlid tank. The pump I have now will only give enough air for one airstone.
